Okay so we all know that the battery life on smartphones is well, non-existent, it’s almost impossible to go through the day without popping it on the wall or car charger just to feed it some more juice. I remember the last time my battery died I was stuck somewhere in LA late at night and couldn’t find my way back home. The battery was so low it wouldn’t even turn on plugged into the charger and my GPS, well it’s useless unless weather conditions are perfect – one cloud in the sky and it can’t connect to the satellite. So there I was stuck in LA, turning right and left trying to find my way home. I had to use the force (Wilshire Blvd.) to find my way back home.
Obviously I made it but now I’m always trying to find ways to conserve my battery which gets complicated because my daughter is always sneaking off with my phone to watch her favorite show iCarly through the Netflix app.
But I do carry extra protection where ever I go now, I carry my wall charger in my purse, a car charger in my car and even a Mophie Case to extend the battery life so I will never been stranded with a dead battery again. But there are several ways to extend your battery life without spending any dough.
