Taking Time to Capture Life Everyday
Miss M painting a picture for her great grandmother, during a visit in Vegas
This month has been epic – we’ve made some major life decisions and decided we should spend some time in Vegas to spend with family before these changes take affect, and what a weekend it was.
Let’s just say it started with us nearly spinning out of control on the freeway! On Saturday morning we ran a flash flood on the freeway and hit some oil on the road causing us to hydroplane and nearly spin out of control. I mean we did spin out of control but thanks to the Hubs we managed to stop safely into the gravel in the median. Some people weren’t that lucky, I’m sure their cars had to get towed out of the ditch on the side of the road. We were lucky it really felt like the car was going to roll. The kids were in the car and were pretty freaked out. So glad my Hyundai Santa Fe handled the incident well.
So after our exciting entrance into Vegas we spent the rest of the weekend relaxing.
Miss M was asked to paint a picture for her Great Grandma – I love how she get’s lost into her artwork, so focused. So I took out the camera – I love capture these everyday moments – it’s an expression of her personality and something I’ll cherish years down the line.
What special moment did you capture today?
