Have you ever gone back to look at older pictures just to see how far you’ve come along? I think it’s important to take some time to reflect on what practice, time, and education will do to your photography skills. This picture was taken in 2011 with my Canon 50D, I think in our old backyard. I remember walking through the background trying to find something unique and interesting and wondered on this flower. I have to admit my talent isn’t with nature photography, mostly because I’m allergic and have a magnetic attraction to bugs. Meaning bugs seem to always find me no matter how I try to avoid them.
I can already list a slew of things wrong with this picture, things that I take into account when I capture photos now.
