This week is National Entrepreneurship Week which means it’s time to honor the amazing entrepreneurs of the world and take a look at ourselves and our own plans. It took me a while to realize that being my own boss and running my own business was the right path for me. I bounced from job to job just for the “security” and never seemed to fit in; I always had my hands in some other side gig. Even as I moved into a management position I was still juggling a business on the side and dreaming of ways to replace my full-time income.
I do know that entrepreneurship isn’t on everyone’s yellow brick road which is why I find myself so out of place at work. Some people really do love their jobs and have planned their future around it. But while they are planning on their future in the business, I’m planning my exit strategy.
So how do you really know if entrepreneurship is for you? According to an article on Entrepreneur.com, there are 25 Common Characteristics of Successful Entrepreneurs.
