I know everyone says the same thing every year, “Wow this year has really flown by!” Honestly, it feels like every year gets shorter with an ever growing list of obstacles, but I’m happy to say we pushed through them and survived as individuals and as a family. In 2014, I started the year with the theme of reinvention. My plan was to reinvent this blog, reinvent myself and my life. But a lot of work obligations and obstacles got in the way. While I did spend most of the year running a few miles daily, work and life balance was more challenging than ever this year. A lot of my creative energy was burned up at work so there was little left over at the end of the day. So my plans for reinvention involved a lot of rescheduling.
But alas the year is almost over and it’s time for a new beginning. I was actually planning on skipping a theme for the year, it was turning into a bit of a cliche just like New Year’s Resolutions. But when I read Beth’s post on Hip Mama Blog I decided to give it another try. (Beth thanks for your sharing we have something in common this year)
So after following the rules on how to come up with a theme Spontaneous and Grow come to mind. Along with the sudden need to improve my left hand writing skills.
So cheers to 2015 and the spontaneity and growth it will bring.
