I’ve owned my online baby boutique for a few years now and my husband has been actively involved and took on the position of search engine marketer for the store. He’s done a wonderful job and we are now sitting on the first page of Google for some top keywords. The biggest hurdle we have in working together is that my background is in design and his is in SEO. So as I designer I would often resist some of his requests, okay almost all of them. But the fact is they have worked.
Which brings up the question which is really more important, design or SEO? But, that’s another blog post.
For the past several months I have been struggling with my product page, I absolutely hate the look of it and I attempted to make changes, but as a “designer” it just doesn’t make me happy. So I decided maybe it would be a good idea to gather some opinions from people that aren’t emotionally attached to the project.

I was thinking about telling you what I don’t like but I don’t want to taint your opinions. Is there anything on the page that draws you in? Is there anything that repels you? Color scheme, okay? Image size, okay?
