I swear it seems like Jessica from jessicaknows.com is reading my mind. I was just thinking about adding a link to my portfolio/resume to my blog. I was just wondering how I can start a transition into freelance, and I really wanted to look into some more affiliate marketing programs. I actually have two affiliates on my site. momAgenda and tiny prints. I love the momAgenda collection and I’m already mentioning them and their products whenever I can.
Day 9 Homework Assignment: to explore different options for monetizing your blog or business.
Time is a commodity around here, sometimes it seems like I barely have time to breathe (hold on breathing). So I won’t be able to commit to much time to everything, so I’ll be concentrating my freelance efforts on writing & web design. My portfolio site is already live, www.seliecretaive.com I just need to update it.
I am already running some affiliate marketing campaigns and I’m also a member of the BlogHer Ad Network. I will have to look into selling text links, sounds like it may be a good fit as well. I only have a page rank of 2 on my site, so it would be interesting to find out their requirements. I’ll try www.linkxl.com and scratchback.com.
While I’m here I guess I’ll move to Day 10
Today’s assignment is connecting with some Awesome Allies online. I group of people instantly come to mind, Integrated Mother, MomOnTheRise, CutieBootyCakes and CGCCoach, I hope they feel the same. I can think of some others that I will definitely be reaching out to soon. My problem is that I have to different paths, one being my writing/blogging career and the other being a successful online boutique owner.
Off to find some more Awesome Allies.
