Moms have a tough time dividing up their day. Considering all the work needed to take care of the little ones, organize and prepare meals, setup and go to appointments, and all those other responsibilities, you’re not left with a lot of time to do the things you want to do–even when the hubby and kids help!
Sometimes things get a little out of control and because you’re running and gunning, it’s easy to forget some of the simple things that need to be done. The following are apps you’ll find extremely helpful for when you’re on the go.
When was Johnny’s appointment? When was Sarah’s recital? What did the hubby need me to pick up from the store this afternoon? Sound any bit familiar?
Calendar apps are nothing new to phones and mobile devices but CAL really takes the cake. The app is fairly simple in the sense that it lets you get the big picture of what your day is going to be. You can use it to set those important errands, meetings, and events; you can use it to set reminders about birthdays, shopping lists, and more.
The app integrates with one the company made called Any.do which is a simplistic to-do app. The combination of that plus CAL working together should make it so you never have trouble managing your day.

There’s rent, electric, water, trash, gas, insurance, groceries, credit card bills, and the list goes on and on. Depending on how you’re handling your finances, you probably have an arrangement with your other half as to who’s taking care of which bill.
The trouble is when you don’t have time to run to the bank to make deposits or don’t have the patience to log into every system to pay those bills. And there’s no way you want to sit waiting on hold trying to do it on the phone, either.
EvolveMoney is an app for busy moms who want to keep their finances in one place. It allows you to collect all those bills and pay them through the app, which is accessible across a wide range of gadgets and devices.

When you start to get good with cooking you really want to give it your all because it’s absolutely satisfying hearing those words “wow! This was great!” from your loved ones and friends. But when it’s those odd days of the week in between grocery shopping it can be a little difficult coming up with ideas for what to cook if all you’re ever used to is basing your meals around pre-planned recipes.
BigOven has over 250,000 recipes within its database but the main draw of the app is that you can input what ingredients you have around the house and it’ll spit out suggestions. No more having to make an extra trip to the grocery store for that one ingredient. You can save time (and money) by using up whatever you have.
See the BigOven app and determine whether it could be useful for you.
4. The Coupons App
Clipping coupons is so outdated. Who really wants to skim through page after page of coupons trying to find the exact one you need, let alone take the time to cut it out to save for later (which you’ll probably forget anyway)?
The Coupons App is essentially that coupon book but through your phone in the form of an app. You can browse around different stores, looking at their deals, and when you’re ready to pay you just show them your phone with the coupon and *boom* you’re savin’.
· Using this app will cut down on the time couponing. Check.
· It’ll save you money. Check.
Good enough to go on the list, right?

Who really has time to exercise when there’s a family to take care of? You’re probably already burning away a ton of calories just chasing the kids around the house and doing errands anyway. But, it’s still important that you push yourself and try to make exercise a regular thing.
The app Hot5 is made by the people behind MyFitnessPal which is real great for tracking your calories and activity. The app allows you to select a wide range of exercises but the point is that you’re doing those within short 5 minute sessions. Even at just five minutes a day doing intensive exercise can have a profound effect on your health and well-being so it shouldn’t be too hard to fit it within your day.
