It was just this morning; my husband and I were talking about when we were going to start running again. And with a grunt
Me: Running, I don’t have time?
Hubby: But we should start back up
And so on and so on.
Then I get into the office and stumble on this article from the New York Times.
Work-walking imagine that. No more excuses, you can work and workout at the same time. According to the article companies like Humana, Mutual of Omaha, GlaxoSmithKline and Best Buy are buying these treadmill offices. About 335 Walkstations have been sold since last November. At $4,000 each, who makes the decision on who needs one?
Work-walking is growing in popularity, which means of course there is a couple of blogs about it. Check out these to Treadmill Desk (www.treadmill-desk.com) and Treadmill Workstation (treadmill-workstation.com). If there is a blog, then there must be a social network as well, right? Check it out Office Walkers (officewalkers.ning.com).
