A walk through Brookside Gardens
Just me and my macro – Tamron 90mm
I’ve been hibernating indoors for the last couple of months in fear of the impending doom expected to arrive by the way of those gigantic and large cicada bugs that I’m told will not only cover the earth but will invade your car and your hair for several weeks this spring. I found myself walking from the metro to my office inspecting tree trunks to see if the bugs have arrived. Luckily they haven’t unearthed yet, so I risked exposure but taking a brief walk through Brookside Gardens with my macro lens in hand.
I’ve only been twice, once in the winter and then again in the very early spring, so it was nice to see all the fully bloomed roses and flowers. I was able to get a few captures and this one is my favorite. I couldn’t stay too long because I happen to be “allergic to nature” too much exposure and I’m a sneezy mess.
