Get your story off the shelf and into the hands of your readers!
It comes in phases, the overwhelming desire to write. When it hits I’m unstoppable, I’ll write several articles at once, I’ll think of a new screenplay idea or story idea and try and put it into words. Unfortunately the writing high fades and I find myself struggling over the shortest sentence.
I have several stories and screenplays sitting in a bin at house, all written pre-baby. It was easier back then I had the ability to tune out the world and write pages and pages of content. But it seems nearly impossible to achieve the state of zen. With two kids running around it’s hard to process a single thought let alone a tagline for my latest script.
This week I was introduced to a new online writing platform, Medium. Medium is a place on the Internet where people can share ideas and stories, not just to friends, but to a real audience. The site structure is very simple and clean and easy to navigate. You can be up and writing in a matter of minutes.
You can find my medium profile A Platform and Blogging Tool, Medium Charms Writers. I haven’t posted anything yet but will this weekend.
